The Central Iowa Cisco Users Group is a Non-Profit user group servicing the Des Moines Metro and surrounding areas. The User Group is run by local network engineers and technology professionals The User Group is driven solely by its members on a volunteer basis and charges no membership fees or dues. Meeting attendance is always free, and anyone interested in the User Group is welcome to attend.

The User Group is dedicated to help others understand networks and networking. Typical meetings have two presentations, either from networking vendors, or from User Group members on requested topics (such as Security or Sub-Netting) or just a presentation of their business’ network. At the end of our meetings, we have a round-table discussion – an open forum where people can ask questions or get troubleshooting help on any network question under the sun.
